Aurelio quietly dresses at 5:00 AM to go assist with breakfast. Most of us stir around 6:00 AM to get ready for coffee and the 7:00 AM devotion time.

FLASH - Francie, your son is in the kitchen cooking French toast!!

I hear interesting sounds in the bath area - Mary Claire is experiencing the shower sans any hot water. She described it as invigorating, but that is not how I would describe her reactions.

Jeb and Neal brought our devotion. It focused on treasure and seeking God's knowledge as if searching for $1,000,000 you know is in your backyard. (Psalms 2) Donna explained that the Hebrew "fear" really means "in great awe of", therefore the only thing we are to fear is God. Today our sharing assignment is to look for our treasures. Interestingly, each day's devotion has coordinated (and not by design) with what Bandy and Mark had planned for share time . . . there are NO COINCIDENCES!

Breakfast was good - even the French toast, Eric! (Neal says he got fired for burning a batch.)

After breakfast, we "chilled" waiting for our work instructions, except Melvin, who must be a "jack of all trades", who is diagnosing the broken Bronco. Most of the ladies sort through all the donations organizing and making school projects.

It is POURING outside - guess we will "chill" a bit longer. Melvin declares the Bronco fixable - glad we have enough extra money to purchase the parts - thank you First Church for your generosity!

Mary Claire's dream came true. Neal, Shawna, and Ginny, with painstaking perfection, are making the blocks for pre-school teaching!

The other team has a sponsor who is turning 50 today . . . they threw a birthday party for her and Kayla - how special. She will not forget her 17th!

We are all becoming much less worried about the gang bathroom - the motto now is "just go for it - but always be modest".

Of course, Shawna locked us all out of the "Hilton" so she could have a super private shower, while we all waited on the porch; don't know if this was by design?!

Jeb and Peggy (on keyboard) played together for worship - the other team joined us acapella and you should hear "There's A Stirring"!
